Price: The Tata Altroz’s prices range from Rs 6.30 lakh to Rs 10.25 lakh (ex-showroom).
Variants: Tata’s premium hatchback is retailed in seven broad trims: XE, XE+, XM+, XT, XZ, XZ (O), and XZ+. The Dark Edition is available on trims XT and above.

Engine and Transmission: The premium hatchback has three powertrain choices: a 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol unit (making 86PS and 113Nm), a 1.2-liter turbo-petrol (making 110PS and 140Nm) and 1.5-liter diesel (making 90PS and 200Nm). All the units are mated to a five-speed manual transmission and the turbo petrol gets an option of six-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT).
Features: Tata Altroz comes equipped with a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system with connected car tech, a semi-digital instrument cluster, ambient lighting and cruise control. Tata also offers multiple customization options for the Altroz.
Safety: Passenger safety is ensured by dual front airbags, ISOFIX child seat anchors, auto park lock (DCT only), and rear parking sensors.
Rivals: Tata Altroz gives tough competition to the Hyundai i20, Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Honda Jazz, and Toyota Glanza.
