Price: Jeep has priced the Compass between Rs 19.29 lakh and 30.84 lakh (ex-showroom).

Seating Capacity: It has a five-seater layout.
Engine and Transmission: The Jeep Compass has two engine options: a 1.4-litre turbo-petrol engine (making 163PS and 250Nm) and a 2-litre diesel unit (making 172PS and 350Nm). Both engines are mated to a six-speed manual as standard. The petrol mill gets an option for a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic (DCT) and the diesel engine gets an optional nine-speed automatic. Four-wheel drive is available only with a diesel engine.
Features: The Jeep SUV is packed with a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with connected car tech, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, ventilated front seats, powered tailgate, and wireless phone charging. It also has an auto AC and a 360-degree camera.
Safety: ABS with EBD, up to six airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), rollover mitigation, hill assist, and a reverse parking camera are some of the safety features onboard the Compass.
Rivals: The Jeep Compass rivals other mid-size SUVs like the Hyundai Tucson, Tata Harrier, Volkswagen Tiguan, and Citroen C5 Aircross.
