Latest Update: Kia has launched the X Line trim of Sonet.
Kia Sonet Price: The sub-4m SUV starts at Rs 7.49 lakh and tops at Rs 13.99 lakh (ex-showroom India).

Latest Update: Kia has launched the X Line trim of Sonet.
Kia Sonet Price: The sub-4m SUV starts at Rs 7.49 lakh and tops at Rs 13.99 lakh (ex-showroom India).
Kia Sonet Variants: It is available in six broad variants: HTE, HTK, HTK+, HTX, HTX+, and GTX+. An Anniversary Edition is also available for the HTX trim. A new X Line trim has been introduced based on the GTX+ variant.
Kia Sonet Seating Capacity: It is a five-seater subcompact SUV.
Kia Sonet Boot Space: The Sonet has a boot capacity of 392 liters.
Kia Sonet Engine and Transmission: Kia offers the following engine options: a 1-liter turbo-petrol engine (making 120PS and 172Nm), a 1.2-liter petrol engine (83PS and 115Nm), and a 1.5-liter diesel (100PS and 240Nm for MT; 115PS and 250Nm for AT).
The turbo-petrol engine comes with 6-speed iMT and 7-speed DCT choices, a 5-speed MT is offered for the naturally aspirated petrol engine and the diesel gets 6-speed MT and AT options.
The Sonet’s claimed fuel efficiency numbers are as follows:
- 2-liter petrol MT: 18.4kmpl
- 1-litre turbo-petrol iMT: 18.2kmpl
- 1-litre turbo-petrol DCT: 18.3kmpl
- 5-litre diesel MT: 24.1kmpl
- 5-litre diesel AT: 19kmpl
Kia Sonet Features: Kia Sonet comes equipped with features like a sunroof, wireless phone charger and UVO-connected car technology. It also offers a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, ventilated front seats and an air purifier.
Kia Sonet Safety: It packs up to six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control (ESC) and vehicle stability management. Four airbags and a tyre pressure monitoring system are now a part of standard safety equipment.
Kia Sonet Rivals: The sub-4m SUV squares off against the Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300, Renault Kiger, Toyota Urban Cruiser, Nissan Magnite and Maruti Suzuki Brezza.
